Berryhill Family Displaced After Late Night Fire Destroys Home

A Berryhill family of four is looking for a place to stay after escaping a house fire that broke out late Thursday night.

According to officials, crews were called to the house around 10:30 p.m.

Crews say the blaze broke out in the home's garage before spreading to the attic and roof.

Sand Springs Fire helped assist Berryhill crews as they worked to battle the blaze.

The family said they had just moved into the home a few weeks ago.

Firefighters currently believe that the fire is electrical, but that is under investigation.
