USDA Expanding Conservation Incentive Programs

The USDA has announced that it is expanding agricultural conservation efforts around the country.

According to the department, the efforts include expanding nationwide availability for the "Environmental Quality Incentives Program" and flexibility to the "Conservation Stewardship Program."

The USDA said the changes are an opportunity to shift toward agriculture that takes climate change into account.
