Fire Station 7 is now open in Broken Arrow.
The 12,000 square foot station is on Washington Street near Arrowhead Park.

The apparatus bays are about three times bigger than the previous building, where some fire trucks couldn’t fit inside the garage.
Plus, the new garage doors allow for a faster exit for firefighters to hit the road.
"To finally be here today and see it come to fruition, we're really excited,” said Broken Arrow Fire Chief Jeremy Moore.
Moore says the station has more than four times the living space.
"We know it's going to provide great safety and comfort for our firefighters, our most valuable resource, and also a great response time for our citizens."
The previous building was 50 years old.
Moore says this project has been in the works since 2014 costing just under $4 million.
"It has been needing to be replaced for many, many years, over a decade at least,” Moore said.
City leaders celebrated the building on Wednesday with a ceremony, ringing the bell and unhooking the fire hose.
Features include a physical fitness room and offices for the Captain and Battalion Chief.
There are also bunk rooms for the firefighters to stay on shift.
Moore says the new space will accommodate for the future growth of the city.
"And we believe this is going to serve the community,” Moore said.
"A lot of work has gone on behind the scenes to make this the wonderful structure that it is for our firefighters. And so we're really proud of the structure, and know it's going to be here for generations of firefighters to come,” he said.
