Appeal Denied For Oologah Woman Accused Of Sleeping With Teen Student

The Court of Criminal Appeals has denied an appeal involving a rape charge against a former Oologah teacher.

Kathryn Wilmott was charged with sleeping with a 17-year-old student between December 2015 and January 2016. Rogers County District Attorney Matt Ballard appealed after the judge Ruled certain witnesses would not be allowed to testify at trial. The appeals court agreed with the judge in the case. Wilmott's case has not gone to trial.
