A Tulsa man is charged with first-degree murder in federal court after a shooting at a Tulsa apartment complex on the morning of January 19.
The FBI and Tulsa Police are now trying to find 25-year-old Dillon Wilson.
Investigators said Wilson shot and killed Jamitric Landrum at the Sandy Park Apartments near Charles Page Boulevard and 65th West Avenue around 1 a.m. on January 19.
Landrum's girlfriend told investigators she was with Landrum in her apartment.
She heard what sounded like someone trying to force open the front door and turning the door handle.
She said she woke Landrum up, went outside, and saw a man around the corner.
The couple then got into their car to look for that person.
Landrum's girlfriend said that's when they pulled up to three people who were in the complex's parking lot talking to a tow truck driver.
She said Landrum interacted with one of them, who turned out to be Dillon Wilson.
That's when investigators said Wilson pulled out a gun and shot at the car.
One of those bullets hit Landrum in the back.
Police told News On 6 that Landrum drove off to get to the hospital but crashed into a utility pole. He later died at the hospital.
Landrum's girlfriend told investigators that before they drove out of the parking lot, she saw Wilson leave the complex in an SUV.
Since Wilson is a member of the Muscogee Nation, he's being charged in federal court.
If you know where Wilson is, call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at (918) 695-COPS.
