NCAA members voted to ratify a new version of the institution's constitution.

80.4 percent of members voted in favor of starting a process that will reduce the overall responsibility of the NCAA office and give more to the three division.

Divisions one, two and three will now start writing their own rules.

The goal of the new constitution is to simplify a rulebook that has been called both complex and outdated.
