Adults with disabilities face worse outcomes when hospitalized with COVID-19, according to a study.

The study in Canada found disabled patients had longer hospital stays in the hospital than patients without disabilities.

The study reported that those patients were 77 percent more likely to be readmitted to the hospital within 30 days.
