Tulsa Man Will Not Serve Additional Prison Time After Admitting He Used Taser On 5 Year Old

A Tulsa man who admitted to repeatedly using a taser on a 5-year-old boy won't spend additional time in prison.

As part of a plea deal, a federal judge sentenced Philip Hudson to time served plus five years of probation.

In 2013, Hudson used the taser on his girlfriend's son 20 times over the course of three days.

Investigators said he used the taser on the boy instead of spanking him so he "wouldn't leave any bruises."
