Friday’s sunshine made being outside in the snow much more enjoyable.

From their ranch in Bristow, Shane and Donna Enman caught the sunrise Friday morning, the beginning of a bright and sunny day.

Kindergartner Raven Sumner made a snow volcano in Claremore during her time in the snow. One-year-old Harlowe got a ride in a storage bin, while her dog, River, left her paw prints everywhere. 11-month-old Ruth Bolin discovered what sitting in the snow feels like for the first time.

And for two baby goats just born overnight on Murphy Road Farms in Locust Grove, their first view of home was snow-covered.

A dog named Maska in Broken Arrow is anticipating when the backyard pool will thaw.

Until then, a little pup named Zia has figured out how to stay warm.
