Warmer High Temperatures Expected To Offset Last Week’s Winter Weather

All indications are that the weekend weather will end the same way it began.

Sunday will be a carbon copy of Saturday. High temperatures in the upper 40s and more than enough sunshine will help us thaw out last week’s snowstorm throughout Green Country.

A light freeze is expected to start your work week, but Monday’s highs will be even warmer than Sunday’s. Most of our viewing area will be in the low 50s.

A ridge overhead is likely to extend our warmer-than-normal temperatures well into the new week, according to News On 6 Meteorologist Megan Gold. Tuesday and Wednesday could see highs into the 60s with partly cloudy skies.
