Broken Arrow Police Arrest Driver Accused Of Running Over Person In Road Rage Incident

Broken Arrow police have identified an individual arrested after a road rage incident led to an armed confrontation.

Police arrested Miguel Casimiro Hernandez for unlawful possession of a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony.

According to police, Hernandez will be booked into the Tulsa acuity jail

An investigating is underway after a road rage led to an armed confrontation and one person being injured, said Broken Arrow Police

Authorities responded to the road rage report just after 12:30 p.m. on State Highway 51 near Aspen Avenue on Sunday. According to police, two people got into some sort of confrontation and stopped their vehicles. One of the drivers took out a firearm and used their vehicle to run over the other person, and then left the scene. Police said they later tracked down and arrested the individual. The injured person was taken to a local hospital due to what authorities described as life-threatening injuries.

The Broken Arrow Police Department said its investigation is still ongoing.
