Authorities Say LeFlore County Man Is In Custody For Killing His Father

A LeFlore county man is in custody, after agents said he killed his father and got into an hours-long stand off with law enforcement.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said Arkoma Police found Jackie Gage dead outside of his home around 8 p.m. on February 6.

Agents said his son, Joel Gage, was in the home and refused to come out for more than four hours.

They said OHP's tactical team took Gage into custody around 1 a.m. on February 7 for murder.
