5 Year Old Accidentally Shot By Neighbor In Ottawa County, Deputies Investigating

Deputies say a five-year-old boy in Ottawa County is in the hospital after his neighbor accidentally shot him.

The man in Fairland was shooting at an animal with a rifle when the bullet went through a nearby house and hit the boy who was in bed, according to deputies.

The man who fired the shot is cooperating with the investigation.
