Emergency crews responded after a pedestrian was hit by a car on Friday morning.
According to Tulsa police, one person was hit by a car near East 13th Street and South Peoria Avenue.
Police say the victim was driving a truck when they pulled over to get out and scrape ice from their windshield. Authorities say that was when the driver of an SUV, who could not see due to ice on their windshield, hit the victim.
According to police, the victim was walking around before being taken to the hospital.
Currently, the extent of the victim's injuries is unclear. Officers say the driver of the SUV will be cited.
