Winter weather is moving into Green Country this week.
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for most of Northeast Oklahoma on Monday morning. The watch goes into effect at 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning and expires at 6 p.m. on Thursday night. The National Weather Service says two rounds of wintry precipitation are expected on Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon. Sleet and freezing rain are expected with some light snow possible. According to the National Weather Service, the incoming storm could bring up to one inch of snow and sleet and around one-half of an inch of ice.
