Tulsa Firefighters Investigate Fires At Abandoned House

Tulsa firefighters are investigating what caused a fire at an abandoned house.

The fire happened in the morning on February 22 at a house that has been boarded. The house didn't have electricity.

However, there were many items inside, which created complications.

"When you have a house that's full of products that could potentially burn...furniture, clothing, things like that. It gets more intensive. So firefighters will be here, even though the main fire is extinguished. They'll be here pulling all that stuff out, hosing it down, making sure it doesn't reignite," said Andy Little, Tulsa Fire.

Firefighters said the house also caught fire Sunday, but that fire was smaller and someone in the area put it out.

Investigators think both cases are arson.
