Mom Makes $1,800 Bet With Teen Son To Stay Off Social Media

A deal between a mom and her teenage son in Minnesota is gaining national attention. When Sivert was 12 his mom made him a deal that he stayed off of social media until his 18th birthday, she would pay him $1,800. Sure enough, Sivert kept up his end of the deal and this past weekend his mom gave him the check. Sivert and his mom joined News On 6 at 4 to talk about the experiment the impact that it's had on their lives.
