Sequoyah Schools Celebrates 150th Anniversary With Time Capsule

Students at Sequoyah Schools are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the school with a time capsule.

Students, teachers and Cherokee Nation leaders filled it with letters, newspapers, documents and special photos.

The capsule will be opened in 50 years on March 4th, 2072.

The school will bury the capsule on the school grounds Friday.
