Sapulpa Man Sentenced To 30 Years In Federal Prison For Sexually Abusing 2 Children

A Sapulpa man has been sentenced for molesting two little girls who he knows after one of them ran to a stranger for help. It turns out that stranger was a federal agent.

Federal prosecutors said last March, the nine-year-old ran up to the agent in a restaurant parking lot to say 64-year-old Andrew Gibbs had just molested her.

They say Gibbs had placed the girl in his lap in the car to "teach her how to drive," but instead touched her inappropriately.

Prosecutors say he also did the same thing to the girl's little sister.

Gibbs will spend 30-years in federal prison.
