Edmond North Girls Win 6A State Championship Over Bixby 59-57 In OT

The Bixby Spartans battled it out with Edmond North in Norman for a chance at a state championship on Saturday that came down to the final seconds.

The game at Lloyd Noble Center was tied at the end of regulation and after some back and forth scoring in the extra period, Edmond North's Toni Papahronis drove to the basket and scored as time expired, giving Edmond North the trophy and sending the Spartans home as runners up for the second straight season.
