Oklahoma Historian Talks About His Book 'The Shoemaker' & Crisis In Ukraine

We've all seen the heartbreaking images coming out of Ukraine and the region is no stranger to violence throughout history.

On Tuesday we looked at one incident from the past century that has a unique connection to Tulsa. Joe Todd is an Oklahoma historian who wrote the book "The Shoemaker" about a Jewish immigrant named Louis Kerbel who moved to Tulsa in 1914 after escaping Russia. He joined News On 6 at 4 to talk about the book and the modern-day parallels.
