TPD Officers Take Man Into Custody After Short Chase

Tulsa police took a man into custody Friday night after they said he led them on a short chase.

Officers said the man bailed out of the car around 11 p.m. Friday near 49th West Avenue and West 61st Street

Authorities used a K-9 and a police helicopter to help locate the suspect.

The man was taken to a hospital to get treated for dog bites.

Police haven't revealed why they were chasing the suspect.
