Tulsa Firefighters are investigating the cause of an early-morning house fire that left one person hospitalized.
Crews say the call came in around 3 a.m. on Tuesday at a home near East 11th Street and South Yale Avenue.
According to firefighters, one person was home when the blaze broke out. Crews say they found the victim in the front room of the home and believe he was trying to escape.
Officials say the victim was in cardiac arrest when he was taken from the home. He was then taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
The cause of the blaze is currently unclear, however, fire officials say it appears it may have broken out in the garage of the home.
