The City of Tulsa and the Tulsa Authority for Economic Development are holding community meetings all this week to discuss the development of the Greenwood District and North Tulsa.
Tonight’s meeting is all about the Evans-Fintube Redevelopment Project.
The city says they hope to develop the former industrial facility into a mixed-use cultural, entertainment, and retail district.
Tonight’s meeting will update the community on what’s happening as well as allow the two finalists to present their submitted proposals for the development.
Community members will have the chance to ask both the committee and the finalist questions.
Every member of the public who attends, both in person or virtually, will get the opportunity to rate the finalists, and committee members will use the public rankings in their final scoring.
This is the final community meeting for this redevelopment project.
The next two meetings, which will be held on Thursday and Saturday, will focus on the Kirkpatrick Heights/Greenwood master plan project.
The meeting tonight will take place at the 36th Street North Event Center, and will run from 5:30-8 p.m.
People can attend either in person or on Zoom.
