A Tulsa man whose arm and leg were amputated says he’s in shock someone stole his electric tricycle this week.

58-year-old Kevin Sullivan says he moved to Tulsa from Broken Arrow so he can be closer to the trails near 71st and Riverside.

He says he was looking at statues near the road on Tuesday evening about 20 to 30 feet away from his trike.

He says when he turned around he noticed someone was riding off with it.

Sullivan recorded a short video of the thief and hopes someone will recognize the person riding it.

He says he lost his arm and leg in a work accident back in the 80’s and he uses the trike for exercise and to get around.

Sullivan says he has had the trike for just two years and it cost him $2,500

Here’s his message to the thief:

"I just want to say shame on you," Sullivan said. "I was talking with my sister and I'm pretty sure that he had to have seen me and known that I was probably an easy target and took it anyway. So, shame on you."

Sullivan says he still has the key to the trike and its electric components won't work without it.

Sullivan says he is optimistic he will get his tricycle back.

Anyone with information about the stolen trike is asked to call Tulsa police.
