Afternoon Thunderstorms Expected As Hot And Windy Conditions Continue

It'll be hot and windy across Oklahoma Tuesday. We are tracking a cold front moving into the northwest.

This will be the focal point for severe storms later Tuesday. Ahead of the front, it'll be very hot and unstable.

Thunderstorms are expected to fire around 4 Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday, storms will be capable of large hail of golf ball-sized and possibly few tennis ball-sized, winds up to 65-75 mph and a low tornado threat.

Flash flooding will be possible as well, because storms will not move very quickly and will have a tendency to hug the boundary.
