For the first time in conference history, Baylor has been picked to win the Big 12 in its preseason media poll.

The Bears are the defending conference champs, but they have lost some key talent including safety Jalen Pitre on defense and their top two receivers on offense.

The selection of the Bears snaps Oklahoma's six-year at the top of the preseason media poll.

The Sooners were picked second followed by the Oklahoma State Cowboys at No. 3.
