OHP: 17-Year-Old Drowns At Lake Murray

A 17-year-old drowned at Lake Murray Sunday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

Troopers said the victim was attempting to swim from the Buzzards Roost shoreline to the boat dock, then they went under the water and never came back up.

The victim’s body was recovered Monday morning and was transported to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office, according to OHP.

The victim's name hasn't been identified.
