A strong-stomached California man broke a Guinness World Record by eating 17 ghost chili peppers in one minute.
The man, Gregory Foster, said the attempt was a personal challenge to see how far he could push his love of hot peppers.
Pepper heat is measured in units called scoville.
An average jalapeno is between 2,500 and 5,000, habaneros are usually 100,000 to 300,000 and ghost peppers are one million or more.
