More than 250 windsurfers graced the picturesque Lake Silvaplana in Switzerland, for the Engadinwind one-hour race on the weekend.
While the lake was set to play host to the 45th edition of the Engadinwind Surf Marathon, tricky wind conditions forced the organizers to change the format of the competition.
As a result, a timed one-hour race was created between two buoys on the lake, with the winner completing the most rounds between the markers.
The riders were competing in the iQ Foil class, which will be part of the Olympic program for the first time in Paris 2024.
In the men's competition, Great Britain's Duncan Monaghan came out on top, while Israel's Tamar Steinberg won the women's event.
