One of the largest piano dealerships in the country is bringing its sound to Green Country selling pianos from around the world.
Whether you're looking for a piano to learn how to play or keep up your musical talents, you can find a wide range for each skill level at Oklahoma Pianos in Broken Arrow.
Jeff Falgien is the Executive Vice President of Oklahoma Pianos. The company is owned by Metroplex Pianos with stores across the Midwest, including in Little Rock and Kansas City.
"We're the first store here in the Greater Tulsa area that focuses just on pianos, both acoustic and digital, new and used. We have something for everybody,” Falgien said.
Falgien says the pianos sold can be heard everywhere from homes to performing arts centers or symphonies.
The instruments are from around the globe, like the Bersendorfer Piano, which was handcrafted in Vienna, Austria. Falgien says the piano is world-renowned and takes eight years to make from start to finish.
It includes technology that can record what you play and play it back or play a recorded or live concert.
Falgien says for many music lovers, a piano is the first instrument people learn, even if they go on to play drums or guitar.
"To see the eyes of people coming in and sitting down to get to experience these instruments, I mean it's life-changing. It really matters, it's important to keep the music playing,” Falgien said.
