Local Business Invites Community To Volunteer With Arkansas River Clean Up

A local business is inviting people to come help them clean up tires dumped in and along the Arkansas River.

There are hundreds of tires that need to be removed. Local Farm OK said it will have trucks to haul the tires away.

Anyone interested in helping should meet under the I-44 Bridge at Elwood on Saturday morning, Aug. 27 at 8:30. Volunteers need to wear boots.
