Man Arrested, Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 10-Year-Old

Rogers County deputies arrested and tased a man accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old.

Deputies said the mother of the child reported after her daughter said 35-year-old Jordan Welch had sexually assaulted her.

The mother found her daughter naked on the trampoline and Welch naked in a bedroom.

Deputies said when they questioned Welch, he told them that he had been drinking and accused the victim of lying.

After placing him in handcuffs, Welch tried to run away, and deputies had to chase him down and tase him, according to deputies.

Welch was arrested on complaint of rape and escape after felony arrest.
