Footwear Company Recalls Kids' Sandals For Dangerous Levels Of Lead

A shoe company called Kolan has recalled children's sandals because of a lead hazard.

The sandals are sold exclusively on Amazon.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the inner layer of the sandals contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead content ban.

Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause several serious health problems.
