Tulsa Riverside Airport To Receive State Grant To Improve Runways, Increase Safety

Tulsa's Riverside Airport is getting a state grant to improve runways and increase safety.

The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission approved the $3.3 million project this month. The grant covers reconstruction costs for several connector taxiways to meet FAA standards and make them safer and more efficient.

Nearly $3 million will come from federal grant funds. State grants and sponsors will cover the rest.
