Man With Pending Molestation Case Pleads Guilty To Assault On Officer

A man charged with molesting an eight-year-old girl in Pittsburg County pleads guilty to ramming a patrol car and U.S. Marshal's pickup as they tried to arrest him.

Tulsa County Deputies and U.S. Marshals tried to arrest Jeffrey Thomas in April 2021.

Authorities said Thomas took off and led them on a 26-mile pursuit with speeds that hit 100 miles per hour.

The chase ended in Glenpool when officers used stop sticks.

Thomas pleaded guilty in federal court on Tuesday to assault of a federal officer with a dangerous weapon.

His molestation case is pending.
