Day 1 Of When We Were Young Festival Canceled Due To High Winds

Thousands were left disappointed after high winds canceled day one of the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas.

Organizers said they were forced to call off the shows due to an advisory from the National Weather Service.

Day one was set to feature many acts including both My Chemical Romance and Paramore.

The festival is set to continue Sunday and next Saturday as scheduled.

Some bands like All American Rejects played free shows to make up for it.
