The Gilcrease Museum kicked of its new public art experience with displays all around town on Sunday.
"Gilcrease in your Neighborhood" installs artwork at 31 locations across the Tulsa area for people to view.
The goal of the program is to give people the chance to experience art while the new Gilcrease museum is being built.
"All of our programs are really meant to reach people in places where they're going anyways, parks, supermarkets, doctors offices, so it reaches people where they are," said Alison Rossi, director of community and learning engagement at Gilcrease.
