City Of Glenpool Holds Public Meetings About 151st Street Corridor

The City of Glenpool is asking residents for ideas to improve safety at the 151st Street Corridor.

City leaders are looking at that stretch of Highway 67 from 26th west avenue to Memorial Drive. Residents shared information about safety issues, slow-downs, and future developments so the city can plan for growth.

"What we want to do is just make sure as we begin long-term planning for this road both from a development standpoint and what goes where...we want to make that safe," said Glenpool City Manager David Tillotson.

There will be a second meeting tomorrow in Bixby. It starts at 7 at New Beginnings Baptist Church.
