OU Updates Stalking Statutes Amid Increase In Incidents Over Recent Years

The University of Oklahoma has updated it's stalking statute, which allows OUPD officers to be able to serve warnings to offenders.

OU officials said this comes as stalking has increased over the past five years on campus.

Six cases of stalking were reported in 2020 and 2021 at OU's Norman campus, officials said.
