2 Arrested After Burglary Call Turned Stand Off, BAPD Says

Two people are in jail after police said a burglary call turned into a more than two hour stand off in Broken Arrow.

Police said it started before noon Thursday near Elm and the BA Expressway when a neighbor called about a suspicious vehicle.

The homeowners told police they woke up to see a hand sticking through a hole in the ceiling.

Officers arrested Morgan Prickett and Demi Burk after they said the two hid in the attic.

The suspects had stayed with the victims just three weeks ago, police said.

They said they found several items outside that had been taken from the home.
