McAlester Officer Killed In Crash To Be Laid To Rest

McAlester Police Officer Joseph Barlow will be laid to rest on Wednesday.

Police say Barlow was killed in a head-on crash along Highway 75 in Glenpool on March 17th. Barlow was participating in a procession for a McAlester police captain who passed away. Barlow died three days later. Investigators say the crash was caused by a man who is in the country illegally and didn't have a driver's license.

Officer Barlow's funeral service will take place at the Southeast Expo Center in McAlester at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29.
