1 Injured After Car Crashes Into Sand Springs Residence

One person was injured after the vehicle they were driving crashed into a home at around 12:30 a.m. Monday near North Walnut Avenue and West 2nd Street in Sand Springs.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, who is investigating the crash, said the driver was coming around a corner when they lost control of the vehicle and hit the side of a garage attached to a home.

Officials said the driver had to be extricated from their vehicle by the Sand Springs Fire department, and was taken to the hospital.
