A 35-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday after his wife said she was kidnapped, assaulted and held against her will, according to authorities.
The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says that Samuel Swatosh was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on multiple charges following a standoff that ended after the SWAT team used gas to get him to surrender.
TCSO says deputies responded to calls of an injured woman knocking on doors and asking for help at homes in the 6500 block of Charles Page Blvd.
Deputies say that woman told them she ran from her home days ago after her husband Swatosh physically assaulted her.
On Tuesday, TCSO says Swatosh tracked her down to a motel where he allegedly forced her into his vehicle before she could escape.
Swatosh then allegedly took her back to their home where the wife says he beat her with a shotgun.
The TCSO SWAT team responded to the house where they say Swatosh refused commands, so they deployed "chemical agents" and he surrendered.
He was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on multiple charges.
