Man Dies After Shooting In Tulsa; Suspect In Custody

A man has died after being shot in the head in front of a Tulsa home Friday evening, police said.

The shooting happened near East Apache Street and North Peoria Avenue.

The man who was arrested at the scene is the same person who called 911, according to police.

Police said there was some sort of argument between two people who knew each other, which resulted in one man shooting another.

Detectives said it's unclear what exactly happened and they are talking with the man who was taken into custody.

Neighbors who live in the area said it's usually a quiet street so they're shocked to see what happened.

"I just had to see what was going on on my next street, this never really happens in the neighborhood," Katelynn Stamper. "Makes me want to stay inside, makes me kind of scared to walk out by my house. You just never know when there's going to be a gunshot."

The names of the victim and suspect have not been released.
