Man Killed After Being Hit By Car In Tulsa

Police say a man is dead after he was hit by a car in Tulsa on Sunday night.

According to police, the crash happened near East 71st Street and South Lewis Avenue at around 10:30 p.m. Police say the driver was traveling northbound on Lewis at the time of the crash.

Police say they are currently not sure if the man fell into the road or stepped into street before he was hit.

EMSA transported the victim to the hospital where officials say he later died.

Officers say it is currently believed that the driver is not at fault and is cooperating with the investigation.
