Watch: Tulsa Founders Chorus Celebrates 85th Anniversary

The harmonies of the barbershop chorus are marking a milestone in Tulsa.

Some may be surprised to learn that the first Barbershop Chorus got its start in Tulsa back in 1938 and the Tulsa Founders Chorus is still going strong today.

Doug Crowl, one of its members, joined the News On 6 team on Monday morning to discuss how the city is celebrating 85-years of the iconic music.

To celebrate the major milestone, the chorus is hosting a concert featuring Barbershop music. The show is set to take place on Saturday, April 15th at 6 p.m. at Battlecreek Downtown. For more information on the upcoming show, Click Here.
