Holdenville Man Dead After Trench Collapses While On Job

A man has died after he was trapped in a trench that collapsed on him while he was on the job, Holdenville Police said.

Police said Jose Valenzuela was working on replacing a compromised sewer line on Monday near Vorhees and 3rd Street when the trench collapsed.

Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded to the scene, including trench and evacuation teams from Ada and Seminole fire departments.
