1 Injured In Early-Morning House Fire In Tulsa

Tulsa firefighters were called to the scene of an early-morning house fire that broke out near East 96th Street and Riverside Parkway.

Fire officials say two people were inside the home when the fire broke out. Crews rescued a man who suffered burns in the blaze and say he was then taken to the hospital for treatment. A second person who was inside the home was ale to escape

Crews were called to the scene around 4:51 a.m. on Wednesday.

Fire officials say the blaze likely broke out after embers from a backyard grill of fire caught the deck on fire.
