Governor Kevin Stitt said that the state of Oklahoma has a 'contract' with a company that will take advantage of the LEAD Act.
The LEAD ACT is an incentive package that Stitt signed into law last year in an attempt to attract major companies to Oklahoma and the MidAmerica Industrial Park in Pryor. Stitt did not specify the company during Friday's press conference but said that this will be the "largest economic development in Oklahoma history" and just requires the legislature to sign off on some funds.
